CATALAN WAYS
Alongside the Catalan Ways show, we invited the scenographers Alfons Flores, Franc Aleu and Lluc Castells to share a roundtable with Montse Amenós, scenographer and curator of the national section, with the aim of giving a direct voice and see the artists displaying in Prague, and to generate a space for dialogue and reflection around their work.
Music is a language which, like architecture and scenography, does not need to express itself with words. And this is what we wanted to talk about, scenography as a language, as drama.
Claudia Schneider, a contemporary singer and performer, gave three performances at the Catalonia national stand. Her voice made the content of the stand vibrate and her presence was momentarily the necessary counterpoint to the visual context we offered.
