ACTIVITIES OF THE STUDENTS SECTION
NEW WAYS
The experience of live arts is powerfully impressive.
The PQ’15, apart from an exhibition of stands on scenography, offers many more different “spaces” to perform various live shows. From the ESAD of the Institut del Teatre we welcomed and presented three performances from the students section.
In the space of the stand we presented a PLATaFORMA, the result of a degree final work. The PLATaFORMA is a multiuse, small space of representation and fitted out with the technological resources adapted to the new size. It allows the expressive use of the new technologies to be explored by experimenting closely with them, as a performer would do with his instrument. We invited Adrià Pinar and Jan Mech to make a live performance series based on the exploration of the possibilities offered by their PLATaFORMA.
In the programme of TRIBES of the PQ’15 we presented FOLDS OF SILK, the work done by scenography students along with the teacher, scenographer and designer MONTSE AMENÓS.
In the LAB’s section of the PQ’15, we presented the BIG BANG POP, a work made by scenography students with the teacher, scenographer and puppeteer ALFRED CASAS.
